BUT YOU'RE NOT INNOCENT

2019

Durational interactive performance

2 hours

This performance was first shown at Analysand by Roller Door Projects in 2019. The audience was invited to leave handprints on my body, using the sumi ink I produced from a grinding stone.

But You’re Not Innocent is a meditation on consent, and what it means to inhabit a female body bound by societal judgement that values sexual purity.
