Polkadot Tote

My first GOOD sewing project! I actually wear this to work! And I hope I will use it in Rome. I didn't use thick fabric, so I am always afraid that it will wear out like the daily tote bag I use.

This store on Queen st. sells leftover fabrics and typically they are used for business suits. I use that for the exterior of the bag. The lining, I find some fun small printed cotton. I spend more effort looking for the lining.

 

I brought the sewing machine Yukiko's family gave me a repair shop. Turns out it only needed a tune up! Now it sews straight, and I know how to adjust the tension! Even though I don't know how to use the other functions, I'm happy with sewing forwards and backwards for now. But if someone wants to tell me how to use the other functions.....I'd be more than happy to learn!!!
