A Novice Pouch My first successful sewing project. I never said it was a good sewing project. This was when I thought the sewing machine Yukiko and her mom gave me was free for a reason, I thought it was broken. The needle wouldn't move when I pressed the foot pedal down on the sewing machine, but other times it would run fine. And I didn't know what all the knobs on the machine meant! That was my own ignorance. This is the beginnings of my bag obsession.
Notice how it isn't even square?
The tension was all wrong (because I didn't know how to adjust the tension on the sewing machine) and it made the zipper warp. Plus, I think zippers are hard to install. |
