This is where we docked on the boat to get to Capri. The boat ride was 2.5 hours long. AHH! Solerna (this town) looks beautiful from the dock. It's a town built up against the mountain (or...that giant hill). You just don't see that in Canada.

Finally!!! Capri! It's pronounced Caaaaa-pri, with emphasis on the first syllable. Instead of taking a tram up to the top of the hill, where the centre of Capri is, we took a convertable taxi. We were waiting sooo long to get on this island, we were very happy to ride on a taxi...as you can see. Plus, I've never ridden a convertable taxi before. Have you?!?!?
Ok, you see how steep that hill is? How rocky that shore is? There was not one spot on this rocky cliff where you could sun tan comfortably. It was a dangerous climb down to the water, many were scratched, but it was worth it to be in such clear waters! And, the weather was amazing.
Paestum
Beaches, bon fires, greek doric temples and jungle gym on antiquity, what could be more fun??
Sperlonga
Sperlonga is the most beautiful city I have ever seen. There are no vehcular roads because all the streets are in steps. There is nothing like it! I wish I spent less time on the beach and more time in the town. I will visit it again some day!
